Fiestas Orientales

The Embassy of Uruguay presents Fiestas Orientales, a photographic exhibition highlighting cultural celebrations from around the country.

The exhibit pays tribute to the cultural diversity and history of Uruguay.

The selected photographs are part of a publication by the Center for the Study of the Economic and Social Reality (CERES) about the country’s popular festivals.

Visit the Embassy to discover the vibrant Uruguayan carnival with its drums, dancers, singers, and colorful costumes; or revel in the time-honored traditions of the gauchos and their incredible equestrian abilities.
