BPS – Issuing a Power of Attorney Letter

In order to issuing a Power of Attorney letter to be submitted to the BPS, you should send an email to cdnuevayork@mrree.gub.uy with the following information:

  • Constituent:

    • Full name
    • Cédula de identidad (Uruguayan ID card)
    • Address
    • Marital Status
    • Passivity number
    • Copy of the Uruguayan identification document

  • Authorized Representative

    • Full name
    • Cédula de identidad (Uruguayan ID card)
    • Address
    • Copy of the Uruguayan identification document

  • Once we have received the above-mentioned information, we will coordinate an appointment to sign the document in the Consulate.

  • This procedure has no cost.
