New York – On November 11, a delegation of Uruguayan wineries held two events promoting Uruguayan wines with the support of INAVI and the Consulate General in New York. The first event was dedicated to professionals from the alcoholic beverage industry and was held in Terroir, while the second convened only retail consumers and took place at Estancia 460, both located in SoHo, Manhtattan.

Journalist Amanda Barnes, author of The South American Wine Guide – southamericawineguide.com – made a national presentation on the Uruguayan production and its growth potential in the US and international markets.

The following wineries were represented in the event: Bodega Garzón, Antigua Bodega, Viña Progreso, El Capricho, Grupo Traversa, Pizzorno, Bouza, Bracco Bosca, Basta, Cerro Chapeu, Marichal, Establecimiento Juanicó, Alto de la Ballena and Bizarra Extravaganza.
